Delance Swiss Watches was founded by Giselle Rufer in 1996. A Delance watch is a unique timepiece that tells the story of the woman who wears it. These watches were created to serve as an emblem of the infinite possibilities for women including their fortitude, power and feminine instinct for harmony.

The Delance Watch
Delance watches combines French design and Swiss craftsmanship. Each piece is manufactured 100% in Switzerland by women for women. Each Delance watch is hand sculpted from either a block of steel or out of 18K gold. They feature a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and are available in two sizes.
There are several dials and cabochons and many styles of interchangeable bracelets.
Stones can be set in the watch to represent special events and make the watch truly personal for the women who owns it. An example of this would be to add a stones for each of her children and to place them at the time that each was born. The cases of the watches can also be engraved with personal messages.
They are water and shock resistant and come with a 5 year guarantee against manufacturer defects.
You can easily tell a Delance watch from other timepieces because of it's distinct diamond shape. They have a spiral at the zenith, the 12 o'clock position, which symbolizes water, moon and femininity. There is a stone at the nadir, the 6 o'clock position, which represents fire, sun and masculinity. The center of the shape represents the universal symbol of life and prosperity. All these elements combine to form the sign of infinity that binds masculine and feminine together in universal harmony.

The Configuration Software allows you to create the watch of your dreams. The Configurator guides you in expressing you desires through an intuitive navigation. Over 130 combinations are possible: choosing the number and location of stones, dial, precious metal, cabochon bracelet and custom engraving of 3 lines on the back of the watch.
Each time an item is selected, the price is displayed in a dedicated insert in addition to the ones previously selected. Once the jewel is completed, you validate the model and even save your creation in a virtual safe and with the possibility to access it later to make further changes before the final purchase.
In case of very specific demand, the designer, Giselle Rufer, accompanies and performs the craziest creative desires, upon request.
Even if DELANCE watches are only available to women, gentlemen are not forgotten so far ... a special “Gift” Tab is at their disposal. The amount is defined by the customer in the currency of their choice among four proposed currencies. The method of sending the gift voucher is possible by mail or email.

Giselle Rufer created her unique Delance watch design when she was working for the Swatch company promoting their children's line.
Giselle knows that not every woman can own one of her watches but she strongly feels that every woman should aspire to own one. In addition to her positions as President and creator of Delance watches, Giselle is also an experienced international motivational speaker. She began speaking at conferences around the world in 1986 and continues to do so today. She speaks on a variety of issues including entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, cultural creativity and her passion which is women's issues. She has been interviewed on radio and television in Europe, the United States, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

On the Delance website each one of these extraordinary women is showcased wearing her custom timepiece along with her feelings about it and any other personal information she wishes to share. The list includes women who are CEO's of companies, Entertainers, mothers, a Noble Prize winner and everything in between. All owners of Delance watches are honored in this way and are invited to post their stories on the site as well.
